  1. This is the 13th BETA release of Gnuplot 3.3.  For a description
  2. of the new additions see README.3p3.  All names now strictly conform
  3. to the MS-DOS 8 character one case limitation.  There have several
  4. internal name changes due to conflicts with Windows NT and DEC OSF/1
  5. version 1.2.

  7. The beta versions can now be found at the following sites:

  10. cygnus.com:~ftp/incoming/gnuplot3_3b13.tar.Z  (cannot see it
  11.     but it is there...)
  12. rsm2.physics.uiuc.edu:~ftp/pub/gnuplot/gnuplot3_3b13.tar.Z

  14. In addition, gpcontrb.tar.z (gzip) was placed at cygnus.com.  There wasn't
  15. enough disk space at sun.soe.clarkson.edu or rsm2.physics.uiuc.edu.

  17. Due to new computer usage policies, I am no longer able to test these
  18. versions on many machines.  Now, more than ever, I need you to
  19. compile and run each version.  The number of mods per beta version is
  20. decreasing and it is approaching a releasable state.  Most of the
  21. code is quite stable.
